2024年10月22日下午,受我院梅永丰教授邀请,美国物理联合会出版社(AIP Publishing)执行总编王瑜㻐博士一行访问复旦大学并参与了由复旦大学光电研究院、材料科学系、智慧纳米机器人与纳米系统国际研究院联合主办的青年学术沙龙。王博士分享了学术发表的流程及出版社主要工作,并和与会青年教师就文章影响力、综述写作思路以及研究论文写作语法等进行了详细地讨论。与会青年老师与同学都反映得到了宝贵的经验与收获,表示该学术沙龙不仅增长了大家的学术视野,使参与人员详细了解了学术发表的流程,而且还提升了自己的学术论文写作能力。
王瑜㻐博士,目前担任AIP Publishing执行总编,负责管理内部编辑团队,监督期刊的编辑标准和质量要求,并领导AIP Publishing旗舰期刊《应用物理评论》、《生物物理评论》和《化学物理评论》的发展。在加入AIP Publishing之前,王瑜㻐博士曾担任美国物理学会(APS)《物理评论》期刊的副编辑。他获得了堪萨斯州立大学的物理学博士学位,之后在JILA--科罗拉多大学和美国国家标准与技术研究院(NIST)以及马里兰大学联合量子研究所(JQI)和NIST进行博士后研究。他的研究背景主要集中在超冷原子/分子和强激光与物质相互作用的研究领域
Dr. Yujun Wang, Executive Editor at AIP Publishing, Visits IIINN
Dr. Yujun Wang, Executive Editor of AIP Publishing (AIPP), visited Fudan University on Oct. 22 2024 with a delegation, invited by Professor Mei Yongfeng of IIINN. Dr. Wang participated in a Young Scholars' Academic Salon jointly hosted by Institute of Optoelectronics, Department of Materials Science, and the International Research Institute for Intelligent Nano Robots and Nano Systems. During the session, Dr. Wang shared valuable insights into the scholarly publication process and the editorial work at AIPP. He led an engaging discussion with young faculty members on enhancing article impact, strategies for review writing, and grammar problems in research articles. Attendees, including both early-career researchers and students, expressed appreciation for the unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the publication landscape and gain crucial skills for academic writing.
Dr. Wang currently leads a team of editors at AIP Publishing, overseeing editorial standards and quality across a range of journals, and spearheading the development of AIPP’s flagship journals, Applied Physics Reviews, Biophysics Reviews, and Chemical Physics Reviews. Prior to AIPP, Dr. Wang served as an Associate Editor for Physical Review journals at the American Physical Society (APS). He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Kansas State University and has conducted postdoctoral research at JILA (University of Colorado and NIST) and the Joint Quantum Institute (University of Maryland and NIST), with expertise in ultracold atoms/molecules and intense laser-matter interactions.
