讲座简介:
Biomedical instrumentations and consumer electronics have changed our life and style of healthcare, however, their rigid format and indirect access to the human body makes information acquiring and delivery difficult, time consuming and costly. In contrast, advances in soft electronics conformally and directly interfacing with skin or bio-tissues are revolutionizing the way we monitor physiological signals and deliver therapy or information, enabling seamless integration between biological systems and digital platforms. This talk will explore the design and implementation of integrated electronic interfaces for actively delivering sensations to users, acquiring the sensory features for personalized feedback, and sensing bio-signals for health condition monitoring, such as cardiovascular activities and metabolic biomarkers. My research involves advanced materials, electronic designs, fabrication strategies and clinical trials, eventually realized tactile sensory enhancement on users or neuropathy patients, and continuous perioperative wireless cardiac monitoring with high precision and high comfortability. By bridging the gap between biological systems and electronic systems, these innovations are paving the way for next-generation personalized healthcare and sensory enhancement solutions.
